Örömmel tájékoztatunk minden érdeklődőt, hogy az EGA Championship Bizottság hivatalosan is elfogadta az Európai Mid-Amatőr Bajnokságon a Női kategória létrehozását és díjazását az Európai Mid-Amatőr Golfbajnokság keretein belül, amit Finnországban, a St. Laurence Golf Clubban rendeznek meg 2019. június 6-8 között.
A játékfeltételek az alábbiak szerint került kiegészítésre:
a mezőnybe 90 férfi és 54 nő nevezhet
nők számára a hendikep limit 6.0 (férfiaknak továbbra is 3.0)
minden EGA tagszervezet delegálhat a mezőnybe 1 női és 1 férfi játékost (a szervező ország további 3 hölgyet és 4 urat küldhet)
36 szakasz után CUT, mely során 54 férfi és 33 nő (továbbá a holtversenyben lévők) játszhatnak a döntő napon
korhatár megegyezik mindkét nem esetében: a Bajnokság első napjának 0 órájában be kell, hogy töltse a 30. életévét.
jelentkezni az EGA oldalán keresztül lehet majd március elejétől (a pontos dátum hamarosan publikálásra kerül) és 2019. április 29. napján (hétfő) 17 órakor zárul.
English translation:
We are happy to confirm that the EGA Championship Committee has officially approved the introduction of a European Mid-Amateur Title for Women in the existing European Mid-Amateur Championship. The championship will be played at St Laurence Golf, Finland, from 6-8 June 2019.

The European Mid-Amateur Championship Terms of Competition will be amended as follows:
The total playing field will be 90 men and 54 ladies.
The maximum handicap is 6.0. for the ladies (still 3.0 for the men)
Each EGA Member Golf Authority will have one nomination spot for the men’s field and one for the ladies’ field (three additional ladies and four men for the host authority).
There will be a cut after 36 holes: 54 men and 33 ladies (and ties).
The age limit will be the same for the men and the ladies: 30 years or over as of 0.00 hrs on day 1 of the championship.
Entries will open on the EGA website (http://www.ega-golf.ch/entry-forms) at the beginning of March (exact date to be confirmed in due course) and will close on Monday 29 April at 17:00 hrs.
